Member Service Representatives (Tellers), Wilmington/Leland, NC

Corning Credit Union is continuing to expand its operations in the greater Wilmington/Leland, NC area and is seeking Member Service Representatives.

Member Service Representatives are responsible for providing excellent prompt, professional customer service for members in person, via phone, and through the mail, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers' checks, money orders, and cash advances.

Representatives balance each day's transactions, verify cash totals, answer members’ questions regarding products and services and actively educate and cross-sell products and services when appropriate. Representatives also perform a variety of account maintenance duties, side-jobs of various clerical functions and they assist other Member Service Representatives with duties as necessary.

High School Diploma or GED and 1 - 3 years of Customer Service experience required.

Network Administrator, Corning, NY

Corning Credit Union is seeking an experienced and motivated Network Administrator who will also provide assistance for Telecom (VoIP), and Video Conferencing as well as providing cross functional support of servers and applications.

The successful candidate will gain exposure and provide support to CCU’s data processing environment, which includes implementing tactical solutions, on-going maintenance, strategic planning and compliance driven from regulators, corporate leadership, and financial industry requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • In-depth understanding of network architecture and protocols with exposure to enterprise level platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with switch and router configuration, preferably Cisco.
  • Ability to manage, maintain and upgrade information technology systems, such as; VoIP platforms, layer 2 and layer 3 switches, routers and wireless access components.
  • Ability to perform incident response analysis and root cause analysis through research and peer/vendor support.
  • Comfortable researching and analyzing system performance issues, new technology and technical, tactical and strategic solutions.
  • Possesses strong organization and time management skills and has the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize workload and projects.

Desired Skills:

  • Firm grasp of systems virtualization technologies and experience supporting virtual servers, desktops and vendor supplied appliances.
  • Certifications related to networking technologies or other industry certifications.
  • Experience assisting with IT exams and audits.
  • Experience in documenting processes, procedures and technology standards.

Programmer, Corning, NY or Wilmington/Leland, NC

Corning Credit Union is seeking an experienced Programmer to join our growing IT Operations Team. As a member of Corning Credit Union’s IT Department, you will be exposed to a wide variety of information technology in a tightly integrated and cross-functional team.

As a Programmer, you are responsible for developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining custom software systems that support Corning Credit Union’s business objectives. The Programmer will work with project teams across the organization and will use technology and keen problem solving skills to help implement CCU’s corporate vision.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft .NET Application Framework, including C#.NET
  • Database design and development skills with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with object-oriented design concepts
  • Familiarity with web-services and SOA concepts is a plus
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) a plus
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is required; however, 2 – 3 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education
