CURRENT OPEN POSITIONS:


Network Administrator, Wilmington, NC (Area)

Corning Credit Union is seeking an experienced and motivated Network Administrator who will also provide assistance with cross functional support of servers and applications.

The successful candidate will gain exposure and provide support to CCU’s data processing environment, which includes implementing tactical solutions, on-going maintenance, strategic planning and compliance from regulators, corporate leadership, and financial industry requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • In-depth understanding of network architecture and protocols with exposure to enterprise level platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with switch and router configuration, preferably Cisco.
  • Ability to manage, maintain and upgrade information technology systems, such as; VoIP platforms, layer 2 and layer 3 switches, routers and wireless access components.
  • Ability to perform incident response analysis and root cause analysis through research and peer/vendor support.
  • Comfortable researching and analyzing system performance issues, new technology and technical, tactical and strategic solutions.
  • Possesses strong organization and time management skills and has the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize workload and projects.

Desired Skills:

  • Firm grasp of systems virtualization technologies and experience supporting virtual servers, desktops and vendor supplied appliances.
  • Certifications related to networking technologies or other industry certifications.
  • Experience assisting with IT exams and audits.
  • Experience in documenting processes, procedures and technology standards.

Compliance Officer, Corning, NY

Corning Credit Union is seeking an experienced Compliance Officer. The Compliance Officer reports to the Corporate Risk Manager, and will utilize their knowledge and leverage their experience to support the General Counsel in coordinating the credit union’s overall compliance with related laws and regulations applicable to the credit union, with special emphasis on Real Estate and Consumer Lending. He/She will also be dedicated to streamlining efforts, safety and soundness, in addition to staying abreast of the regulatory environment by conducting research and effectively analyzing changes applicable to regulation.

The successful candidate will possess an Associate’s degree - Bachelor’s degree in business or finance is preferred, a minimum of two years applied experience in the role and hold the Certified Compliance Officer designation. Additional experience in lieu of certification will also be considered, provided certification is obtained within one year of employment.

Required competencies include, but are not limited to:

  • Requires moderate to advanced compliance knowledge
  • Exceptional research and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • The ability to effectively communicate detailed information to various levels of the organization
  • Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Consumer Loan Officer, Corning, NY

Corning Credit Union is seeking a Consumer Loan Officer. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication, customer service, and analytical skills. If you are looking for a rewarding career with stability unheard of in this economic environment, then CCU may be the place for you!

Responsibilities:

The Loan Officer is primarily responsible for satisfying our member’s borrowing needs and providing exceptional service, support, and education to our members; including recommending additional products and services to meet their varied financial and convenience needs. Specific duties include; gathering applicant information, reviewing and analyzing credit histories and making sound lending decisions.

Call Center Representatives are responsible for a variety of member support functions including; answering account inquiries, providing member product and service education, opening accounts, adding services, and securing and maintaining member relationships.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills and is able to connect and interact well with members via the telephone. A high level of professionalism, flexibility, initiative and the ability to exercise good judgment and problem solving skills are required.

Member Service Representatives (Tellers), Corning, NY

Full-time Member Service Representatives are responsible for providing excellent, prompt, and professional customer service for members in person, via phone, and through the mail, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers' checks, money orders, and cash advances.

Representatives balance each day's transactions, verify cash totals, answer members’ questions regarding products and services, and actively educate and cross-sell products and services when appropriate. Representatives also perform a variety of account maintenance duties, side-jobs of various clerical functions, and assist other Member Service Representatives with duties as necessary.

We are also seeking Part-time Member Service Representatives (Tellers) for our Main Office Branch. (Approximately 25 hours per week)

High School Diploma or GED and 1 - 3 years of Customer Service experience required.
